Jonathan runs KDE neon, a project to ship open source software directly from the community who makes the software using modern techniques of continuous integration and automated QA. KDE is the original and best community for Linux on the desktop. He got into KDE when wondering at university he wondered how the theory of programming could be turned into real apps to use and exploring the code was the best way to find out but quickly got sucked in to fixing bugs and the promise that Linux on the desktop was certain for a successful career. He lives in Edinburgh in Scotland where he canoes the rivers and paddles of waterfalls.
